How to get social proof?

Hey guys!
I started my first shop a few days ago, and am now ready to make the first sales. I’ve read a lot about marketing, and one of the main points was social proof.

But how can I get Reviews on my Products if no one has ordered it yet? Is it even possible then to get social proof?

Here is my store: lovegifts.ch

Thanks for the help guys.

@lovegifts_ch Congrats on launching your first shop! To get initial reviews without sales, you can offer your products to friends or family and ask for their honest feedback. You can also run a giveaway or offer discounts in exchange for reviews. Using apps that show real-time activity (like visitors or cart adds) can also help build social proof. Good luck with your store

Hey! Congratulations on starting your first shop! Your website looks great, but I agree that marketing will be key to driving sales.

To build social proof, consider offering free samples to friends or family in exchange for honest reviews. You could also reach out to influencers or bloggers in your niche for collaboration.

Additionally, I recommend checking out our Brand Awareness services here. These can help boost your visibility and attract your first customers, which is essential for gathering those initial reviews.

Best of luck with your new venture!

Hi @lovegifts_ch , thank you for posting here!

Once I visited your store, Love Gifts looked good, and I could tell you had put much effort into building it.
Because your store is new, social proof was one of the pain points. I wanted to share some successful tips on building trust for your store with you here that you might find useful:

  • SOCIAL PROOF: add a live visitor counter, recent purchases, and just bought to get instant attention by showcasing a large number of store visitors
  • SALES POPUP: add a gamification box, and discount code with a countdown timer to make customers’ purchases more fun and engaged with an animated gamification box
  • FOMO & SCARCITY: add order, add-to-cart, sold count, low-stock alert to increase checkout rate with a sense of urgency
  • CART RECOVERY: add flashing tab animation, cart abandonment alert, and comeback alert to convert abandoned carts into sales
All of those features can be added to your store with just an all-in-one Free social proof app from us, SnapNoti FOMO Visitor Counter.

I hope this recommendation will assist in enhancing your website’s conversion rate.

@lovegifts_ch Hi!

Congrats on launching your shop! It looks amazing.

To gain social proof without making any sales, as mentioned earlier, you can offer a few products to friends, family, bloggers or influencers and request honest reviews. You can also create a sense of credibility by adding “trust badges” (like secure payment or fast shipping icons) and showcase any positive comments your store gets. That way, you’ll build trust early even without many reviews. Without trust, there’s no business.

If you want to build social proof, consider using an app that has loyalty and reviews features. Growave is a great tool for boosting social proof. You can use it to collect reviews, offer loyalty points, and even set up a tiered program. By giving your first customers incentives like discounts for leaving reviews or referring friends, you’ll build up social proof quickly.

Wishing you success in your new project!
