I am trying to design a shopify store for selling digital products i.e. music. Now I want to give license for the depending on the quantity of the product downloaded. For example a customer buys 15 quantity of a product then I want to give him/her a license that will verify that customer has bought 15 quantity and cannot use the product more than 15 at different places. Can you please tell me if this makes sense?

I have not heard anything about providing licences for digital products and
I assume this is not something Shopify provides either. This also sounds
like it Something you would need in order to sell the products and not
something your customers need

Some apps help you give a restriction on the number of downloads per license and keep a track of it. Though this is applicable to every customer who buys a product.
Check out - Wire. This app enables you to put restrictions on a product as a whole, but not on the quantity of customers, which could be one way to tackle your problem
