In the Shopify admin panel I can easily group products by product type, but I’ve yet to find a way to sort product titles by alpha within each group. Right now it will correctly group my products by the two products types I’ve created, but within each group it seems to sort however it wants at the time. The top group sorts by alpha, but it does so Z-to-A and the bottom group is sorted randomly. If I click the button to reverse the sort order everything will still be grouped by product type, but it then puts the top group in random order and the bottom group is then in correct A-to-Z order. I can’t find a way, no matter what I’ve tried, to get both groups to sort by alpha A-to-Z. This seems like a significant bug in the system. Has anyone found any way to get this to work as desired? It only works “half-way” right now in that it can’t sort all products by alpha within all groups. I’ve seen other posts recommending making some sort of bookmark to the correctly sorted products, but that’s not possible if there’s no way to sort them as desired in the first place. I want to be able to set the desired view and have that be the default view every time I click the “Products” tab. Thanks in advance for any solutions!
