I would like to add multiple add to cart buttons and quantity selector to my product page. I would like to do this so as people scroll down on the desktop page there are multiple chances of purchase. Because the add to cart is a block within the product section I need to add another section first and delete out the blocks i don’t want. Currently I can’t duplicate the product section to do this. Please help when some coding so i can duplicate the product section. Im using the enterprise theme. Thank you
In the theme editor, you are editing the template. As such, anything you add applies to all product pages that are associated with that template.
This is why there are sections you can add after the main product, like “You may like”. You can add anything you want after the product section. Collections, featured products, etc. You can even have bundle apps that have additional products within the product section.
If you’re only looking for a purchase option of the product further down the page, you would simply make the add to cart button sticky.
Technically, you should be able add a Featured product section and use Template-> Product as a Dynamic source for the “product” setting of this section.
But yes, having a sticky cart or “back to top” kind of button should be a better option, especially if your product has options which would need to be synchronized.
