How to have one quantity across multiple variants

Hi there, I am selling jewellery made to order so generally I have unlimited supplies.
However I have 27 pearls which I plan on making individual necklaces with

Within this 27, customers have the option of gold or silver chain plus three different chain lengths.

I dont want to put set numbers to each variant, cause everyone may want silver while one may want gold - I simply dont know

Is it possible to have a total of 27 available across multiple variants?
