How to have your products images cycle on a loop automatically

I have been playing with this for a while I really want to have it like this: When on a collection page scrolling through products, all of the products cycle automatically between the first and second photo of that product. Think t-shirts switching from front to back automatically not only when you hover over it.

There is a shopify theme called plain jane 3.0 that has exactly what I want to do but I want to do it on my own. On Plain Jane 3.0 the effect is called “auto-cycle product carousel.”

Can someone please help with this?

Hey, this sounds ds pretty doable. Can you please kind of send a short video of this effect. I don’t know, the moment I open their site chrome just stops responding.

Okay, so basically it’s just showing the images of a product in a loop inside product card.

Since you are on dawn, I won’t necessarily be needing any access. I can try this on my dev store. Let’s see how this comes out.

I actually use an app called ImageLoop for my clothing brand to achieve exactly this without custom coding.

Instead of a heavy animation script that might slow down the page, the app automatically rotates the main product image on the collection page based on a schedule you define (e.g., every 4 hours or every day).

It works perfectly on Dawn and keeps the store looking fresh by showing different angles or colors over time. You can find it on the App Store.
