How to hide out-of-stock items in product variations on Symmetry theme 2.0?

Currently, all product variations are set to be displayed in the product listings.

The shopify theme 2.0 (symmetry) has a feature to narrow down the availability of items.

It is possible to display or hide out-of-stock items.

However, since the system is set to display product variations in the product list, it is not possible to hide items that are out of stock, even if only one of the product variations is displayed.

However, since the product variations are set to be displayed in the product list, if there is even one item in stock within a product variation, it will be displayed as “Out of Stock”.

If there is even one out-of-stock item in a product variation, the out-of-stock variation will be displayed even if the product variation is narrowed down to “out-of-stock items = hidden”.

To set this as “show/hide” for each variation, use the following

Thanks for the advice.

However, this seems a little different from what I want to do and the requirements.

I want to customize the filter that comes by default to show or hide out-of-stock items.

I would like to change the filter to show or hide stock by variation, not by product.
