How to hit the spot for the first time

So I’ve spent a few months already creating my store, trying to update it, improve it, and all the possible things you can imagine. I’ve search for help in many places and spent a heck of a lot of money to date, that’s something I really wanted the help on, starting to truly convert.

I know a lot of you can help me, and please do, this is my first time posting and all I want to know is what strategy you used to start growing. Thank in advanced for your help, and please, be fuly honest, thank you!

Hey @Comari,

Thanks for posting here. Could you please share your store url and password [if applicable] so that I can take a look and provide you with the solution code.

Thanks

Oh sorry! You’re right, the URL is: comaristore.com

Hi @Comari

Welcome to the community.

And the best strategy to start growing is doing research. As you can imagine, you are not the first with some issues and wish to know what works and what does not. There are a lot of stores with no sales, so try to search “no sales” or “zero sales” as well as “store feedback” for some ideas, tips, and things that can improve your store. So do take some time with that.

But in general, you have a solid store. I see you did have some work, some apps, a good amount of content, images, and even videos. But for me it looks a bit generic, like I seen similar stores, with the same products, others in your niche have.

And I do not get enough trust signals to even think of buying from your store. There is no contact information, except for a Gmail email that is not too professional. There is no address, no phone, bussiness registration info. Next thing is reviews, your homepage hero banner has some claims "5K reviews, 3200 customers, average rating 4.9/5 but I did not find any reviews on your site. Maybe there are some reviews from your supplier, but on-site, I could not find any. You have one section on bottom of the homepage, but those are clearly fake. And that does not increase trust. On product pages, you have 4.5 stars but no app available to add reviews.

And some technical issues, I think you have not set the body font for your theme and I do not see any font applied to paragraphs, product description, and other small text. Titles are fine as the heading font is OK.

One more thing to mention, it sounds like you are making products. " At Comari , we are passionate about creating high-quality, innovative oral care product," but you are not making any, actually, right? You do not even have your brand on any of your products. You are just another dropshipping company and people expect that. So saying you are creating something is just another bad trust signal. And while we are there, who are “WE” as your about page just says your brand and some text that does not say much, but has words like “our mission”.

So ask yourself, why would someone actaully but from your store? And not any other, or some well-known sites like AliExpress, Amazon, Walmart? What unique part you bring to customers?

Note, maybe this sounds harsh, but in general, your store has solid content and products. So do some research, and good luck with sales.

Thank you, really!
It does sound harsh but it’s completely okay, I’d rather have the hard reality thrown at me that continue being stuck. I will try to curate my store using the tips you’ve given me, if you have any more please don’t hesitate on sharing. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!

Hey Comari,

I have got some points for you…

Right now the product page explains features before the CTA, which can slow decision-making.
You may get better clicks if you place clear, emotional benefits before the Buy button.

Example one-liners you could test:

  • You’ll get a brighter smile that instantly boosts confidence.

  • Professional-level whitening — safely, at home.

  • A one-time investment in how you’re seen every day.

Then move technical features lower on the page for users who want details.

Also, I’d strongly recommend adding Before & After images on the product page — they act as visual proof and significantly reduce doubt in whitening products.

Hey Surjeet,

Thank you so much for your constructive review!
I have on question: Do you mean replace the first line I’ve got where I talk about “Build you set, get your discount” for one of the ones you gave me?

For the before and after images, I will be sure to do so, the thing is, I’ve had more reviews from other sites and they told me to reduce the size of my product page. So, do you recommend to add that before and after block and not eliminate anything, or replace the before and after for another block?

Thank you so much once again, your detail is surely of a lot of help!
