How to hyperlink a landing screen image to a product collection page

Hi there,

Is it at all possible to hyperlink an image on my shopify home page to a collection page? I don’t have access to these fonts in my theme so I had a designer create the “shop now” button using this font as part of the image. Happy for the entire image to link to the associated collection page.

Please note I have uploaded the image I am referring to as an mp4 file simply because this page would now allow me to upload jpg.

Is coding required? Would love any tips. Thank you in advance.

it is definitely possible to hyperlink an image on your Shopify home page to a collection page. You can simply add a hyperlink to the entire image, so when a user clicks on it, they will be redirected to the associated collection page.

Find the HTML code for the image on your Shopify home page. It will look something like this:

Add the hyperlink code directly to the image HTML code:

Replace “your-collection-url” with the URL for your collection page and “your-image-url.jpg” with the URL for your image.

Thank you so much for your reply. I love how you make it sound so easy, meanwhile I am out of my element. I’m trying to find the html code and unsure how. Do I go via themes edit code or F12 on the home page?

A quick update - I needed this completed prior to a new release so I ended up hiring somebody to do it for me.
