Thanks for the question. Google Analytics is the first free tool that comes to mind and we use it extensively with many of our clients. We offer an Analytics Analysis as either stand along research or part of more in depth research projects. Our data analytics team dives into your GA to identify leaks as well as to understand who is coming to your website and how they behave on-site.
Another free tool that would be helpful is Microsoft Clarity. It provides heatmaps and session recordings and can be used to help highlight areas of confusion (e.g. navigating back and forth between pages, friction (e.g. rage clicks), and to understand which elements are gaining users attention.
