please help

Hey Niteshchitra.

Improving conversion rates starts with understanding your customers deeply. Since your audience is primarily women over 40, focus on building trust, reducing friction, and making the shopping experience as intuitive as possible.

A few key things to consider:

  • Trust & Credibility – High-quality images, detailed product descriptions, and customer reviews help visitors feel confident about their purchase.
  • Ease of Decision-Making – Simplify navigation, offer clear size guides, and highlight bestsellers to make choices easier.
  • Seamless Buying Experience – Ensure checkout is smooth, with no surprises around payment methods, shipping fees, or return policies.

Also, don’t just rely on assumptions, gather customer insights through feedback, surveys, or even casual conversations to uncover what’s holding them back from purchasing.

Hope this helps!

Hi @Niteshchitra

If your target customers are women over 40, here’s what works best:

Focus on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Email Marketing – These platforms have strong engagement from this demographic.
Run targeted ads on Facebook and Instagram – Set the audience to women over 40 with interests related to your products.
Use promotions to collect emails – Offer discounts or special deals to encourage sign-ups.
Send well-planned emails – Once you have their emails, send relevant content consistently, but avoid spammy messaging.
Optimize your website – Keep it simple with a clean layout and large fonts for better readability.
Offer Cash on Delivery (COD) – Many older customers prefer COD for convenience and trust, which can help boost conversions.

This approach ensures you’re reaching the right audience and improving your chances of turning visitors into loyal customers.

I hope this helps

sub-1% conversion on sarees with a clear target audience (women 40+) tells me the store probably isn’t matching the shopping experience they’re used to. that demographic wants to see how the fabric drapes, how the colors look when worn, the full effect of the outfit. static flat-lay photos don’t communicate any of that.

for traditional clothing like sarees, on-model imagery makes a massive difference in conversion. buyers need to picture themselves wearing it. we use Prodofoto to generate on-model and lifestyle shots from basic product photos. for a saree store especially, showing the drape and styling on a person is what turns browsing into buying.
