Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed a lot of store owners struggle with homepage design — and since the homepage is usually the first impression customers get, it plays a huge role in whether they stay or leave.
I wanted to share a few simple strategies that can make a big difference in conversions.
1. Clarify Your Value Proposition
Make sure within 3–5 seconds, a visitor knows what you sell and why they should trust you. Use a short, bold headline and a supportive subheadline.
2. Highlight Bestsellers or Collections
Don’t overwhelm visitors with every product. Feature your top products or categories up front with clear visuals and CTAs.
3. Add Social Proof
Customer reviews, UGC, or trust badges near the fold immediately increase credibility.
4. Keep Navigation Simple
Avoid clutter. Limit your top menu to the essentials so shoppers don’t get distracted.
5. Use Strong Calls to Action (CTAs)
Make your “Shop Now” or “Explore Collection” buttons stand out in colour and placement.
I’d love to hear from other store owners here — what’s worked best for your homepage in terms of increasing sales or engagement?
