How to include filter options at Account Registration level

Hello all!

We would like to create a vendor filter option for customers when they register. The goal is that a customer has the option to pre-filter vendors when signing up and as a result limits the collection that is shown when signing in.

In our shop (WIP) we have the products from Vendor A and Vendor B available, they are practically the same but customers may prefer (for their own reasons) Vendor A or Vendor B (for example apples). By providing a pre-filter they then have a better user experience.

Who knows how to fix this in Dawn theme?

thank you for your assistance. I have been looking at this, but actually am trying to find a way that customers who sign up can make a filter at that moment, while providing their name, address, etc. It should be a registration feature.

I hope this makes my challenge clearer.
