I’m want to install a custom calculator that will assist in customers their pets daily food requirements.
it’s simple calculator with only 3 fields - weight, a percentage of that weight (this will need to be a drop down menu) and then the calculation.
can anyone recommend an appropriate app?

If the requirement is straightforward(which seems to be at the moment), you may want to consider doing customization using liquid and javascript, no need for any app. However, if you are likely to have multiple scenarios then you may search for an app that can be configured for your need.

I’ve not seen any app like this yet for Shopify but maybe we see one in the future. Anyways, you can have such a calculator embedded on your store through some custom coding for which you can contact me.

Yeah it’s not a big to-do for you to do this yourself. I think hiring a developer to do it for you once will be more cost effective than paying for an app monthly.
