We have our Shopify payments and bank set up. How do I know if it is set up correctly and is there a way to test that customer purchases product and the money goes to the bank correctly?

How to test? Buy something.
If you aren’t buying your own products and thoroughly examining the checkout/payment process, you’re doing yourself a major disservice.
If you need to lower the price for test purchases, go for it.
