We want to create a tab on product pages that give information about the vendor for the given product.
We are using the Impulse theme and we have the following pieces of information we just need some help putting together:
We can insert a dynamic source that shows the vendor linked to the product. We want to use the same process to pull vendor specific information and not just the vendor name. Is it possible to link a vendor to a page so the dynamic source pulls the page information linked to the vendor and not just the vendor name?
Our thought process is as follows:
-Product A is from Vendor 1
-We link Vendor 1 to a separate page we create with information about the vendor
-We add a tab on product pages with the vendor as the dynamic source
-The information on the page linked to the vendor displays in the tab rather than just the vendor name.
Is that or something similar possible?
Alternatively, one of our customers uses the Prestige theme which allows tabs to be created just by creating a page with the information and tagging specific products to create the tab. Is there a way to replicate that functionality with the Impulse theme?
We want to do this natively within the theme and not through an app if possible.
We have all of the separate pieces and just need some help putting them together.
