When asking shopify to connect my shop to my You Tube channel Shopify creates a pages.plusgoogle.com address, it also creates a new Google Merchant Center and Ads account, using the pages.plusgoogle.com which is not an email address and therefore means you cannot access the new Google Merchant Center or Ads accounts - how insane is that? I just want to advice you on the new accounts, be very careful as Google suspends businesses that have multiple accounts. shopify should allow you to link to your original accounts.

I do not know more about the Youtube setup. Just wanted to advice you on multiple accounts.

Did you find a solution for this. I am stuck with a @pages.plusgoogle.com email and new merchant account that I cannot access. I also need my Youtube brand account to be linked, did you find a way?

I already reached out to Google. So far they have no idea how to fix it.
According to them a Youtube brand will have the email @pages.plusggogle.com
and there is no way to log into that email or it’s merchant center that
Shopify created.
I was hoping others with similar issue have reached out to you and maybe
you can guide me how to resolve this issue.

Same problem here. I linked my YouTube account to Shopify (which I want to keep linked), but now Google Merchant Center is inaccessible to me because the pages.plusgoogle.com identifier is not recognized as a valid Merchant Center account. I can’t believe this is still a problem more than 2 years after your initial post.

I recommend changing the email address in Youtube, so that it doesn’t use the @pages.plusgoogle.com

There is a way, I have done it myself long time ago, but I don’t remember the exact steps.
