How to locate HTML/CSS code for a specific product page?

Hey guys!

I want to know where can I access / find HTML code for a specific product page on my Shopify store? I have been trying for a while but unable to access that particular product page code.

Hi!

All product pages are generated from the product-template file.

To access this template (different naming between themes):

  1. Click on “Online Store”
  2. Click on “Edit”
  3. Click on “Edit Code”
  4. Search for product in the search bar
  5. Click on the result to open it

Yes right there! Type in “product” and you’ll see the required files.

Yes I have tried typing in product name but nothing comes up.

Now I see what you mean, all products use the same template for display. If you want per product customization then you have to find the general liquid file and assign individual cases for each product ID or variants!

Actually I want to change the color of swatch (see attached screenshot) and its corresponding code on the right through clicking the inspect page option. Can you identify from here where exactly will the general.liquid file maybe?

Sorry I’m new to Shopify that’s why it might be a simple solution but I can’t find it :disappointed_face: …

Are you using a specific theme or is it custom? Also what app are you using to display swatches? You shouldn’t have to mess in the code here, it’s a configuration issue for the colors

I’m using Backin theme. The swatch option is already integrated in the theme, it hasn’t been added separately.
