I’ve read other solutions to this question and none of them have worked for me - please help! I need to make the cart note required because customers keep skipping it (I’m a florist and use the cart note for customers to input “Card Message”). I’m using the Craft theme and the cart is set to “Page” (vs drawer or pop-up) so customers can’t go directly to checkout. I’ve tried changing the code to required class for the note and that hasn’t worked. Thank you!

You can follow some of the solutions suggested in our Community threads here. It appears it worked for other merchants. Keep in mind before you customize a theme, it’s a good idea to make a backup copy so that you can discard your changes and start again if you need to.
If you don’t feel comfortable editing the template code yourself, you can always reach out to our Support team. Our team may be able to customize this for you if you use Shopify free theme and your store has enough complimentary design time left.
You can reach out to our Contact Us page at this link. Then log in to your store. It will allow us to verify you as the store owner securely. Once you have successfully logged in, you should be able to reach out to a Support Advisor and discuss the customization request as there are specific customizations supported.
