How to make contact fields complusory - Dawn Theme

Hello there!

I have a few contact forms on my store (get in touch , request a return and become a retailer) - for general enquiries, for retailers who wants to cooperate with us and for returns.

I have noticed that , despite some of the contact fields are marked as mandatory, the message is sent out with success.

How to make them mandatory and prevent the message from being sent out if those fields are not completed and filled in?

The fields I’d like to make mandatory are:

Phone Number, Order Date, Company Name and Company Main Business

Hi there,

For the dawn theme, you need to edit the code in the contact form. Go to edit theme code first, then search contact, and add “required” to the mandatory fields like below.
