I have an international shop, but I want the checkout page not to pre-select the country.
I did not find the checkout.liquid in the edit code theme,
How can I do that. Could you please help me check it. Thanks

checkout.liquid is only available for Shopify Plus customers @Hoangminh

Is it?
Yes
The Checkout pages are upgraded to Checkout Extensibility, checkout liquid no longer exists
The documentation says that it’s from August 2024.
She said she’s upgraded that’s why there’s no access.
Hi, @robwatkins88 !
Hope all is well.
Just to confirm, upgrading to Shopify Plus would not block the access. However, please note that as of August 13, 2024, checkout.liquid for the information, shipping, and payment pages will be turned off and no longer supported.
As of August 28, 2025, checkout.liquid for the thank you and order status pages will be turned off and no longer supported. This also includes turning off apps using script tags and additional scripts under the post-purchase and order status pages. Shopify Scripts will continue to work alongside checkout extensibility until this date.
Shopify Plus merchants can now use checkout extensibility to customize their checkout, thank you, order status, and customer account pages.
Hello, can the checkout extensibility alter or edit the html of the checkout page? Can shopify functions execute script that load a third party script onto the page that can be hosted on another server and loaded on the checkout. Checkout.liquid provides great access for store owners to create and customise bespoke functional features to a business objective, shopify apps however look limited and provide shopify with compliancy, for consumers I see more cons than pros to upgrading. Removing third party scripts in the checkout? Can tag manager interface in the checkout ?
