I use the Shopify Forms teaser popup in my lower right hand corner for a “Help Request Form”, I understand the teaser window has some limited logic in regards to showing popups. But all I want is for the Teaser popup in the corner of the page to be persistent all the time, no matter how many times the user visits the page. (now if they close the teaser itself I understand, but I want it to reappear on the next page navigation.) So essentially they can only get that popup to go away temporarily and as soon as they go to another page it reappears.
@031999 This is a limitation of Shopify Forms right now.
The teaser popup uses built-in suppression logic (cookies/session), and there’s no setting to force it to reappear on every page load once a visitor has seen or closed it. Shopify intentionally prevents persistent re-showing to avoid aggressive UX.
What you can do instead:
Use a custom teaser button (via theme or a lightweight app) that’s always visible
Replace the teaser with a floating help button that opens the form on click
Use a third-party form/chat tool (many allow “always visible” behavior)
So short answer: not possible with Shopify Forms alone requires a custom or third-party solution.
I can suggest the cleanest setup that won’t hurt performance.
I’m looking for whatever is easier and quicker. I don’t mind going into a file and pasting some code. I’m fine with an app also if that’s easier. If there’s a cost associated that is no matter.
So you want to annoy customers, and undo their autonomy.
This is not the way to win customers over it’s a way to increase the passive aggressive annoyances on your website.
If some form is required then invest the time to make it a permanent part of the process.
Otherwise why go out of your way to alienate potential customers.
What are you talking about Paul….? It’s standard practice on over half the websites on the internet to have a Help or Chat button in the lower right hand corner that sometimes opens a contact form, sometimes a chat. Did you actually read what I am asking for?
