How to make variant name a colour to match flavour

Hi all im looking to make a variant name a specific colour to match the flavour of my product. For example if the flavour is raspberry id like the colour of the text to be raspberry. Hi @stefanowide this is an advanced customization because the color names may not correlate to default colors.

So a map of names to color value has to be created and then that is used in CSS to style things.

Otherwise the simplest DIY in most modern themes is to set up the product-options as image swatches either per theme documentation, or using category-metafields and swatch features in supported themes.

Hi there im using palo alto theme and I can’t get the above to work ive connected the flavours however it doesnt show it in the colour it has a box around like this. Any advice??
