I am reaching out for help as a team of Shopify experts has been trying to find a solution for me to the following challenge without success.
I have a service and delivery-based business that works within a 5km radius of the shop. We need our customers to be able to search to see whether we deliver to their street, then have software that allocates deliveries on a repeating subscription basis weekly or fortnightly at the same time according to their street location. Postcode isn’t specific enough as one postcode can have thousands of addresses.
For example, we might deliver to a particular square block in the city on Tuesdays and Saturdays, so customers would see that we deliver to them in their location on those days. We would then want them to select an available time for delivery on one of those days. Delivery must be received in person, so the delivery window is very small.
We are currently doing this manually by phone calls and spreadsheets, but as the business is growing, we need the customer to manage their delivery options themselves. Routing for street deliveries would be great as well.
According to the team, there are only postcode apps available, not street and/or high-rise building specific.
Any ideas or help would be very appreciated urgently!
