How to map colours to CSS colours palette?

Hi,

I’m using Shopify 2.0 theme Baseline in my store www.outdoorkids.pl

I would like to use product colour switching option, so the ring that allows user to pick the colour of the garment on the product page. example:

https://www.outdoorkids.pl/collections/kombinezony-zimowe-wiosenne-dla-dzieci-niemowlat/products/kopia-ducksday-caloroczny-kombinezon-przeciwdeszczowy-ranger?variant=41934175731881

I noticed that system ‘reads’ the colour from the name of the variant of the product.

Some variants are named “ranger” hence I need to add “blue” to their name, so they’re showed as a blue dot.

Question:

Is there a place in the theme where I can map those type of colours ?

So I could map that BLUE = RANGER.

In that way I wouldn’t have to add ‘blue’ to variant name.

thank you!

Sebastian

Hi @Szmigielski ,

It’s customization work, for that you need to hire a developer or need a developer help,
to add this feature with custom code.
