How to modify date picker code for a specific public holiday exception?

Hi all,

Currently I have a date picker in place which blocks out every Monday and Tuesday as our stores are closed. However, in view of an upcoming public holiday (9 August 2022), I would like my online store to remain open for purchases. How should I work this into the code please? Existing code is below. Many thanks in advance!!

{{ ‘//code.jquery.com/ui/1.9.2/themes/base/jquery-ui.css’ | stylesheet_tag }}

Pick a delivery / self-collection date: <input id="DeliveryOrSelfCollectionDate" type="text" name="attributes[DeliveryOrSelfCollectionDate]" required We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Hi @meleustacia ,

I would like to suggest the Easify Product Options app, which helpsyou to integrate a Date Picker without any coding, block or unblock specific days effortlessly to align with your needs :blush: .

Let me to walk you through a brief showcase of how you can harness the power of this app:

  • Create a new option set

  • Add the Date Picker option type and customize your disabled days:

  • Apply to chosen products and publish

  • During special holidays or occasions when your online store is open for business, swiftly revisit the option set. A simple removal of disabled days will suffice. Once the holiday concludes, revert to the option set to reinstate your blocked day settings :hugs: .
