does anyone know how to do this.. I have a large gallery of music records with sound clips and i’d like to be able to add the ADD TO CART ( + ) button/symbol on each product image / overlay and only visible if you have the cursor over the image – see screenshot – site earcave.com

In this case you need to build your section with card product element.
You need to check your theme, if it supports for collection section then use it, normally on the section it contain the add to cart button on each product card. Then we can add some custom css code to make the button show and hide when we hover on product card.
What is the code to hide the default ATC button and overlay a (+) icon on the right bottom corner?
