How to post TimeLine comments on Customers and Orders using REST Api

Hello, does anyone know the way to insert comments in the customer or order timeline, using REST Api?

Alas no, there is not a way to do this via the REST API. You can read the Order Timeline comments from using the GraphQL Admin API like I’ve shown here though.

Here’s the CommentEvent object(docs) in GraphQL Admin API for Customer Timelines/Order Timelines if it helps.

I’ve made the request for the feature known to our internal teams regarding the REST API. Hope this helps explain things at least!

Are there any updates regarding this? Our clients request this feature. It would be really nice to post timeline comments for orders.

I’d second that request. Especially within Flow automations for logging events.
