Hi everyone,
I need a tool or an app to stop customers from using fake emails or fake domains and to check them before they place an order.
One of my customers recently used (name)@gmai.com, for example.
Is there a way to validate the email before the customer completes the order?
Does anyone know a good solution for this?
Thank you so much
Require sign in is the only way to “validate” an email address before an order is placed.
Other things like location/IP blockers, checkout rules that block certain email domains, places, addresses, or names, Shopify Flow, and switch to manual payment capture, are all part of your arsenal.
You should search
you will find lots of threads.
Ask them to log in before checking out.
Apps like EmailVerify or any “email validation / checkout verification” app on the Shopify App Store can catch mistakes like @gmai.com and prompt the customer to correct it.
