How to print shipping labels if order is marked fulfilled by mistake

When I went to print the shipping label for an order, I noticed that my recent orders were showing as fulfilled. Therefore I could not print a shipping label. I wonder if there is a way to override the status of an order, in other words, change it from fulfilled back to in progress so that the shipping label can be created.

Hi, @Portraits_by_NC !

If your order has accidentally been fulfilled when you wanted to purchase a shipping label for the order within your admin, you’ll just need to go into the order and cancel the fulfillment.

To do this, navigate to the Orders section of your admin, and click into the order you are wanting to change. Once you’re in the order, under the “Fulfilled” section that you’ll see at the top, you’ll need to click on the More button, then “Cancel fulfillment.” Here’s a screenshot example of what this will look like:

Once you’ve done that, the order will go back to it’s initial state before it was marked as fulfilled so you will be able to select “Create shipping label” to purchase the label and fulfill it that way.

There is no option for me to “un-fulfill” items…only a box to add tracking…

I need help with this also. There is no button next to print shipping label for me.

Go to your list of orders and select it, then you have options on the bottom there.
