Hi,

I live in Australia but have started an LLC in the USA (Delaware) and have stock in the USA for local delivery.

I set up my Shopify store using a Payoneer account to receive local US dollars. Initially, payouts were working fine, but I had to issue a refund, and Shopify tried to withdraw the funds from my Payoneer account. This withdrawal attempt failed, pausing further payouts.

This is the error message I received:
“Your payout couldn’t be withdrawn because your bank account doesn’t allow withdrawals.”

Since I don’t live in the USA, I can’t open a US bank account but I can still trade there.

If Shopify payments is available in your region, that would be the best choice because, you can also connect your Australian back account through there. If not, then, I highly suggest that you reach out to your bank provider first specifically, Payoneer regarding the withdrawal error and lift any restriction you have with this. It is also great to use Stripe because you can also accept other currency in this payment method and at the same time, connect your Australian bank account as well on your Stripe account.
