How to re-add the Buy Now button on a product page?

Topic summary

A user needs to restore the “Buy Now” button on their Shopify product pages after previously removing it for customizable items that required purchase orders. They now have ex-event equipment available for direct online purchase and want the button positioned between the title/price and product description.

Key Details:

  • The issue affects the Default Product template
  • User provided screenshots and a product link (Samsung Odyssey G95T monitor)
  • They can re-enable the Dynamic Checkout button but need guidance on proper placement

Response:
Another user directed them to Shopify’s developer documentation for adding buy buttons to product descriptions, though noted the button should simply say “Buy now” or “Add to Cart” rather than other variations.

Status: The discussion remains open with initial guidance provided but no confirmation of resolution.

Hi there, I’m looking to sort out adding some products to our Shopify page for some ex-event equipment we have that we want to sell.

Previously, I had to remove the buy now button to advertise a few of our stock that is customisable and cannot be sold online, and must be sold through a PO. However, we’re now in a position where we have stock to sell online. Can someone assist in re-adding the buy now button so it’s above the description and below the title/price? I can reenable the Dynamic button, but I’d rather it just say Buy now or Add to Cart.
