I closed my Shopify store last year and I would like to get back the domain name, but every time I try to enter the address, it says it cannot be opened because it is linked to the same domain name + myshopify.com. How can I unlink these two domains and recover the original one (without the myshopify.com extension in the domain?

I definitely understand the importance of being able to regain access to your custom domain as you mentioned.
In regards to your .myshopify.com domain/URL, this domain cannot be removed or transferred from your store. The reason being is that this domain name is used to log in to your Shopify admin and identify your account when you contact our support team.
If you’d like to retrieve your custom domain and transfer it to a new platform host, I recommend contacting our support team via the Shopify Help Center. Through our community forums, we are unable to provide account-specific support. Our advisors will need to ensure you’re authenticated and that they’re speaking with the account owner.
To create a support request you’ll need to navigate to the help center, log in to your store (if you’re unable to you can select Continue without logging in) follow the prompts and select one of our available support options.
