How to register for Shopify Payments from the UK without an SSN?

When i try and register on shopify payments it asks me for a SSN(USA) I am based in the UK and only have NI number

What do i do???

Thank you for your question.

An SSN is a requirement for using Shopify Payments. Unfortunately, without an SSN, you won’t be eligible to use Shopify Payments for a business based out of the United States. You should consider looking for third-party payment providers to be your payment methods.

Can you please clarify for me that your Shopify account’s physical address and bank account are both based in the UK? Has this always been the case? Has the address or bank account ever been linked to USA?
