Can someone give coding instructions on how to remove the company name from the end of all of my blog page titles. Itβs making them too long. My URL is https://claribelskincare.com.
Topic summary
A Shopify store owner using the Dawn theme wanted to remove their business name (βClaribelskincare.comβ) from appearing at the end of page titles in search results, as it made titles too long.
Initial Problem:
- Business name automatically appended to blog posts and product pages (e.g., β- Claribelskincare.comβ)
- Changing the company name in settings to β.β resulted in titles ending with β- .β instead
- This affected how pages appeared in Google search results
Resolution:
- The original poster resolved the issue independently but did not share the solution
- Another user experiencing the same problem requested details on how it was fixed
Status: Resolved for the original poster, but the specific code or method used remains undisclosed in the thread.
Can you point it out which one? Or do you mean the copyright? Thanks!
All of my blog posts and product pages. Iβm not referring to the copyright.
I did go into my settings to change the company name from βClaribelskincare.comβ (which was making the title too long), but Iβm not permitted to leave it blank so I added β.β, which unfortunately ends all of my blog posts with a β- .β. Looks ridiculous.
As you can see below when viewing my search results in Google, there is a β- Claribelskincare.comβ at the end of some pages or a " - .", which I want to remove entirely.
What is the code to remove the company name from the website page titles.
I resolved this myself.
Hi Jeanette,
Please could you confirm how you resolved this? I need to fix the same frustrating issue.
Thanks.
