I installed Releaseit Cash on Delivery app today on my store, with the help of their developer on chat, i followed their steps. They made changes to the theme ‘Cash on Delivery’ (COD) search item and on the ‘Thank You’ page. They edited shipping rates since order total wasn’t changing with additinal COD fee checkout. But i got very confused so i requested to uninstall app and they said they removed shipping rates and that i could uninstall the app. I don’t know what all changes have been made but i was recommended by a shopify advisor via chat support of shopify help centre to consult shopify community.
i wanted to get help before Black Friday as I have only just mananged to restart my store after months of shutdown. i just want to ensure nothing has been affected in my store’s default code and that hopefully everything had been reset to original state before uninstalling the app.
