How to remove or unpublish Theme app extension

Hello everyone, hope you’re having a nice day, during the verification of a submitted app, it was suggested that we use the theme app extension, when we tried, it turned out that it wouldn’t be possible to implement all our features if using it, now, the theme app extension status is ‘Draft’, is there a way to unpublish or remove the theme app extension from our App?

You cannot delete a theme app extension, but you can unpublish it if you don’t need it anymore. QUESTION: “For an app using App Extension, does the theme need to allow that or it’s on Shopify end and it will be available for everyone no matter the theme?”

My Theme App Extension does nothing and it on draft, you say I can unpublish it.
My question is clear : HOW TO UNPUBLISH IT ?

Here are the steps to unpublish a Shopify Extension as per I can see on my admin site:

  1. Go to partners.shopify.com and login

  2. Click on “Apps”

  3. Click on the name of the app

  4. Click on “Extensions” tab

  5. Click on the title of the extension

  6. Make sure that none of the versions listed in the page say “Unpublish”

I don’t see any versions or any option to unpublish. I’m building a discount app using Shopify Functions

Note: It’s now 10 days since I made this comment. I checked the extension/function again in my partner portal and I was able to delete it. The button appears in the bottom left.

So I guess in order to delete a function it can’t have any runs or updates for X amount of time, then they will let you delete it.
