How to remove standard shipping option when free shipping criteria is met?

I have a problem at checkout for my free shipping option. The standard shipping rate button also appears together with the free shipping button and you can choose either one.

My issue is that I didn’t think that customers would be given an option to choose between free shipping and standard shipping. I just wanted for a customer to get their free shipping when they spend a certain amount.

How do I remove standard shipping when my customers have reached an amount that qualifies them free shipping without having the options of standard shipping pricing and free options?

You can configure shipping rates based on price conditions. For instance, you can offer free shipping for orders above a certain amount and a fixed rate for orders below that amount. This ensures that only one option is offered at checkout at any given time.

Where is the controls for shipping? Ours is showing free shipping right now but we want to do either flat rate or zip code based pricing. Thanks!

You can automatically hide the standard shipping option when customers qualify for free shipping using the ShipRight app. Here’s how:

  1. Open the app and click the “Add a new rule” button.
  2. Click “Add a new condition” and select “Cart subtotal”.
  3. Set “Hide if more than” to the minimum amount that qualifies for free shipping (e.g., $100).
  4. Select the “Standard” method in the “Select shipping methods” field.
  5. If your exact shipping option is not listed in the above field, add it in the “Additional shipping methods” field.
  6. Save the rule by clicking the “Save” button.

Now, when a customer’s cart subtotal exceeds $100, the standard shipping option will be hidden, leaving only the free shipping option available.
