How to resize blog images in Dawn theme?

Hi,

I’m using the free dawn theme, here is my website url: https://mapleaishabella.com/. On the homepage, the blog images look great and high quality.

However, on the blog section: https://mapleaishabella.com/blogs/dogs, the images are blown out of proportion and I’d like to reduce the image size to 50% or less of its original blown up shot. In addition, the uploaded image is cropped and my logo is not visible, I do not know how to stop this auto cropping.

If you go to the article page, the images are gigantic but shows the full image with the logo: https://mapleaishabella.com/blogs/dogs/mishkas-dog-cakes. It would be great if the image did not go across the entire top fold and was smaller and centered.
