How can I adjust the size of my collection cards on my homepage? They are just a bit too big. I would like to shrink the card itself, the text, and the images.

Assuming your theme is based on dawn, you can set the size to show 4 items instead of 3 which would make the items 25% of the container instead of 33%.
Alternatively you can give the container some more padding but that would be a bit more advanced (only requires a bit of extra CSS, so not that bad)

You can reduce the items per row of the collection list element, which will shrink the collection too. Please follow my instructions below to do that
Step1. From your Shopify Admin > Online Stores > Theme Customize
Step2: Click on Collection list section and change the item to 5 like this screenshot
