How do I keep my domain name before I close my account. I do not intend to tranfer it at the moment to another store.

When it comes to keeping your domain once your store has closed, you’ll want to look into transferring that domain to a third party hosting platform. This way, the domain and all of it’s settings are still accessible to you without having to pay for a subscription for this store that you plan on closing. This also gives you the opportunity to link the domain to your new store once you’re ready to get it rolling! Here is a resource that provides instructions on how to do this.
Do you mind me asking why you’re closing your previous store? It’s important to make sure that you check out this document here before closing the store, so you can double-check to make sure you’ve pulled all of the information you need, like CSVs for example, off of the site.
