Is there any way to do it with the regular Shopify platform instead of a separate app?

Root Cause Identified:
The merchant imported products from DSers, which apparently doesn’t enable tax charging by default. While Shopify normally checks the “charge taxes” box automatically for new products, third-party import apps may override this setting.
Resolution:
DSers offers a setting to make all imported products taxable by default. The merchant was directed to DSers’ help documentation for configuration instructions and confirmed this resolved their issue.
