How to separate first and last names in exported order data?

When we are exporting the orders to csv file, first name and last name are being combined with space and we are not able to differentiate between the first and last name. So we required to add an underscore or slash between the first name and last name so that we can differentiate both. Both the first name and last name are coming under same column Billing name so any way to differentiate them ?

Hi There,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible via the Shopify Admin csv export. Our Report Toaster app allows these fields to be exported separately. Please feel free to take a look and let us know if you have any questions.

I Installed the app but how to differentiate the first name and last name they are coming under same column differentiate by space we need to differentiate by slash or underscore. I had attached a screenshot where you can check the customer name section.

I created a new report for you under My Reports. If you refresh the app you will see it named “Order with separate names”.

Hey, Thank you I got that thing now one more doubt is there I just created an order to check whether it is updating in the app, the thing is it is not updating ? Is anything I have to do for that ?

It appears you entered a few test orders. Those are kept separate from your actual production orders. You can read this article about how to report on test data.
