How to set navigation bar in Craft theme to left as a sidebar

I’m trying to set my navigation to the left, a search te looks like Craft doesn’t. When I search this I get a list of old themes that offer a sidebar, the results show a list that no longer exists… ie Supply, Boundless and Simple. …

Have to do this using custom code.

Have to change the menu structure for this, it will took 6-8 Hours.
