I want the cost for shipping to be charged at 15% of the total cost of my product. How do I do that?

That’s a great question! While the standard options for shipping don’t allow for custom rates to be showed based on a percentage of the total order, you can set scaled shipping rates for a range of pricing.
The closest to your desired result solution would be to set custom rates based on order value. The order value would need to be a range ($0 - $100 = $5 shipping), but you can set up as many as you would like.
Alternatively you can look into a third party shipping app that might be able to offer this functionality instead. Please note that most apps that adjust shipping will require Carrier Calculated Shipping to be enabled on your store, this may be an extra cost depending on what plan you currently have.
