How to create a Google Ad campaign with an appropriate budget for a small business. What is the minimum budget that works well for small businesses just starting with Google Ads?
How do I choose the right keywords that will help me reach the right audience for my children’s footwear business?
How do I avoid using non-effective keywords or negative keywords, and focus only on positive, high-performing keywords?
How do I target my Google Ads to a specific region, such as my local area, to make sure the ads reach nearby customers?
Hello Uju, thank you for your question. When you are just starting out I would recommend at least $30 to $50 per day, assuming you don’t have thousands of products. As you can imagine the more products you have, the more you need to invest.
Keywords for shopping ads are actually not used, but extracted from your product data source. So adding important search terms in your title is important, however avoid keyword stuffing, and ensure you comply with Google’s editorial guidelines.
If you don’t know what keywords and you are a new business, look at your competitors and use tools such as SpyFu.
To find what keywords to exclude, you need to run your advertising campaigns, for a week or so, and then analyze the search term reports, then remove what you see is irrelevant.
You can change the location in the campaign settings and click on the tab locations.
