How to set up a timed 'Register to Continue' popup in a B2B online store?

Hello all,

We’ve just launched our B2B fashion print design (digital files) store and locked access to our collections and products, with the Locksmith app. (it’s common practice to only give access to trade buyers).

This works well, but it’d be great for lead generation if visitors could access the collection/product pages for say 10 seconds before a popup shows up forcing them to register to continue (so the popup can’t be clicked away or page refreshed to bypass the lock)—these kind of ‘locks’ are common on newspaper/magazine site: ie signup/login to continue reading.

I searched for apps with this functionality, but couldn’t find any solution.
Does anyone have an idea?

Hi @StGilez

To achieve this you can customize the theme which will check whether the user is login or not and if the user is in nonlogin state.

It will remove all content, mark the user as new and start the timer and trigger a Login or Signup popup after 10s.

With no APP required. Let me know if you are willing to hire.

We do use the Locksmith app for locking our products and collections and it has a secret link functionality, which is also useful for lead generation- does your app have that too?
Can you pls give me an (time and cost) estimate for building the popup lock I require?

Hi @StGilez ; thanks for trying out the app. If you open your desired pop-up in the builder and move to the display settings, you will see the option for lock scrolling. We have more interesting functions in the builder, which can be modified according to the user’s needs
