How to set up an automatically welcome email/notification

Hi guys,

I just added the email subscription section to the foot of my website, but there is no indication of successful submission after submission behaviors, and also, I have not received the welcome email. I was wondering if using the service that comes with Shopify rather than a third-party plugin would solve this problem?

Actually, the third-party plugin called Privy I’m using only provides a variety of subscription pop-ups and a welcome email triggered by the pop-ups. I would prefer to have the newsletter section fixed at the bottom of the site, and to show that successful submission and that the user receives a welcome email. How should I do this, I need your help.
