How to set up drop-shipping payments and commissions on Shopify?

Hi, I am setting up a drop-shipping marketplace on my Shopify store and this will be a B2B2C marketplace. Brands will provide the inventory details via Shopify app syncio (https://apps.shopify.com/syncio) and shoppers will purchase the products through my store. Brands will handle all fulfilment / shipping of orders (drop-shipping).

Please can you help guide me to set up each brand in my Shopify payments area so that I can send them the payments for any products that have been bought, minus the commission / fees set for them? Please note that each Brand has their own Shopify store too, which is where the inventory data is being pulled from.

E.g. £10 t-shirt was brought on my Shopify store and the t-shirt was from Brand Alpha. Then I take the £10 payment on my Shopify store and send £8 to Brand Alpha, keeping £2 commission for my store.

It is not possible to have payments split between more than one bank account when payouts are deposited via Shopify Payments, so the payment of commission to your vendors would need to happen after you have received the full amount (minus credit card processing fees) from Shopify.

There are apps on the Shopify App Store that are designed to help faciliate commission payments for stores using the model you’ve cited, suich as PuppetVendors and Vendor Consignment. I would recommend looking into these apps and apps like these as they are likely the most straightforward way of running a consignment business on Shopify.
