How to set up shipping to get USPS first class mail?

Hello,

I am currently exploring shopify as an option to move my store.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why USPS first class mail will not show to send envelopes for 60 cents which is what I do currently.

I set up my saved package as (6 × 9 in, 0.1 oz) using the envelope option.

I even selected first class mail under shipping rates.

But all I can see is USPS Priority Mail which is more expensive for $3.95

My product can fit in a standard envelope and weighs 1 ounce at most.

I set all my products to weigh correctly which is under an ounce.

Hi @ubucci ,

The PH Multi Carrier shipping label app supports USPS First Class Mail. As you rightly mentioned, USPS First Class Mail is applicable for orders that weigh 1 ounce at most.

If you’ve found a solution for this would appreciate if you can share, Thanks

Hi, @WickedlyAsh !

Thank you for sharing your concern.

Generally, once you set up your product weight, envelope size, and shipping rate, the correct rates should be displayed to your customers. However, if a customer has more than one envelope in their cart, a different rate may be applied due to the weight and envelope requirements. This could explain why the USPS Priority Mail rate was displayed instead. You can learn more about packaging here.
